Boston College takes advantage of SU’s tackling woes, mauling way to 37-31 win vs. Orange

Chestnut Hill, Mass. — Boston College ran the ball up the middle on the first seven plays of the game against Syracuse on Saturday and never stopped pounding away at a leaky run defense, earning a 37-31 win over the Orange.
Syracuse (6-3, 3-3 ACC), which has tackled poorly for much of the season, surrendered a season-high 318 yards on the ground at BC’s Alumni Stadium with two BC running backs covering 331 yards between them. Kye Robichaux ran 28 times for 198 yards, while fourth-string running back Jordan McDonald carried 15 times for 133 yards.
